In July 2014, my design team and I were awarded first place in “Make-Up and Appearance” and second place in “Best Special Issue or Section,” “Community Lifestyles” and “Best Graphics and/or Illustrations.” Overall, we walked away with 22 awards, including “General Excellence” — the highest honor in our circulation group.
